whats a good name for a young party promotion business?

im 16. Im a young entrepreneur. I don't mean to brag, but im pretty popular and everyone seems to like me. I've done a couple of businesses in the past that were very successful, i just got tired of those areas and this is my newest project. Which i think can take me very far. But all in all this promotional project is to help others who do; music, art, and other hobbies or interests who are trying to get seen.

Well, first you must think about all of the characteristics that your business holds. Is it classy? Suave? Smooth? Exuberant? Quality?

Or describe your business in one word and use that? Or if you have a business partner, use both of you guys' initials. For example if it's Anthony and John, think A & J Promotions.

If your business is not limited to party promotions only, think of a more sophisticated name. Such as Williams & Associates with a tag line expressing your expertise.

Also, just some advice from an event coordinating business owner and a person who works in the business consulting field...if you are assisting people in helping them get noticed by various companies, develop a media package. The package included a bio of the artist, services they can provide, some professional photos, samples of their work and YOUR business card including a business line with a professional business voicemail and an email address. If it's a musician provide a sample cd. An artists, photos of the work they've previously done. A model, additional photos from photo shoots. Remember clean face (no make up) close ups and full body images are preferrable by various modeling agencies.

Although, your 16 and you may get a few phones hung up in your face because naturally in a business setting, people don't want to do business with a 16 year old. But it's important that you have your business in order.

Think about contracts with these artists. If you're representing them and promoting them, think of doing so for a small fee. $100 for 90 day period and maybe $50 per month for every month after. And make sure you can show what you've done in case they want to sue you later. Get courier receipts when you drop off media packages. Set up show cases for your musicians, enter them into local talent shows.
