All PEOPLE need to feel empowered. It is simply to feel as if you have the ability to succeed and to have control over your life. Empowerment is for both sexes and men need to have that same feeling.

Do people really think that websites that use the "guilt by gender association" theme is really productive?
For example websites like:
Men can stop rape

Personally it seems pretty counterproductive to me to shame 1/2 of the population all the while attempting to promote a message of unity toward an occurrence that both genders experience.
We don't really see websites like "Women can stop paternity fraud" or "Women can stop child abuse" in some false empowerment campaign that is really nothing more than guilt trip and shaming fest for not knowing every intricate and subtle detail of the legal implications /definitions/types of forms/ associated with each individual's states laws.
Do these website promoters think that by spreading guilt they're combating hate with their own veiled contempt? Does anyone else see the duplicity here?
It is good that people are trying to stop violence and rape and paternity fraud and abuse.
However, it is not good that they are playing it off like only one gender is the abuser. It will make it hard for those men raped by a woman and men physically abused by their wives to be taken seriously.
It seems like rather than saying, hey we should get these bad things to stop happening, they are saying, hey let's only get them to stop happening to the one gender and not provide equal resources to the other gender.
