market trends for a bakery?
im taking an online entrepreneurship class and i have to write a report on a business i want to start. i chose to start a bakery, and part of the report says that i have to:
"Identify trends occurring in the market that will impact your business. List three positive and three negative effects such trends will have on your business. Example: If I am starting a house cleaning business, I would consider that women are working more today and have less time to spend with their families. "
i really dont get what this means. what kinds of market trends could there be for a bakery?
One trend could be that of rising energy costs (you need energy to bake bread). Another might be that of the cost of flour. A positive trend might be that people want to eat more nutritious food, so they might go to bakeries instead of grocery stores.

Serious inquiry
Politics interest me more than anything else. I don't even really HAVE TO talk about it, but I've decided to make it my career. The other things that interest me are economics (fiscal policy), entrepreneurship (to an extent), office work (most of my work experience lies there), some manual labour, upper management, and, very occasionally, sports. Also, media and journalism, design, music, and dance.
