Seems the Left favors oppression as long as they feel secure?
A lot of the Left is opposed to regime changes (i.e., forcefully removing dictatorships and replacing them with democracies) and against individual self-defense (i.e., Leftists generally favor gun control, or on more extreme circumstances, forbidding one to physcially ward off an attacker, as in Britain. An old lady got jail for hitting a mugger with her cane. She illegally "fashioned" a weapon when she used her cane and caused her attacked to feel "fear").
Political promises of government aid and insurance seems to attract Leftists, but any movement towards individualism or assertiveness is labelled as being chaotic or cowboyish.
What's with the Left effectively supporting government oppression as long as they feel secure and taken care of? Is it just a lack of soul or courage?
And the only time I hear the Left talk about "sovereign" nations is when they refer to dictatorships. Really, what's with these people?
