Self Defense Walking Stick

stared at for walking stick carrying?

people stare at me for carrying a walking stick, is it because I'm 13 and them as kids around my age don't carry them often or they don't trust me even though I would never hit someone with a stick unless it was out of defense. I have been carrying them a while, so do they not get the point that sticks are good for walking and self defense even without a pointy edge?

please note that I do not depend on walking sticks to walk and I am not worried about being attacked at all plus I'm not carrying them much anymore.
the teachers at my school don't fuss at me for carrying them.
the sticks I use are strong enough to walk with and long enough to use.

Sounds a bit odd. I've walked with a cane for many years, and the only comments that I've noticed are when people admire the wood that it's made from. Otherwise they don't seem to notice it.

does the right to bear arms make it easier for a murderer to walk free?

my sister was shot and killed by her husbands grandma.she said they didnt argue and had a good visit but when she went to get something off her table she heard her slidding door and turned to see my sister coming at her with a hammer in her left hand ,so she pulled her 22 rifle out and they struggled and it went off.my sister was righthanded and they more than likely discussed my sisters decision to file divorce and abandonment on her husband the next week. she also just heard my sister coming into the living room from outside not her opening the door and goin out .theres so many other inconsistanceys in her story.even the detectives believe it was murder, but shes stuck by self defense and nothing is goin to happen to her.news articles at heathermizellmemorial.com
