Who was the camera man?
Not that I would really care who videotaped peace activists fighting with Israeli soldiers after they were storming a ship. I am just wondering why a video clip provided by the Israeli Govt. as an excuse for self defense doesn't also show how Israeli soldiers use their weapons.
Any ideas?

I think that the video was taped after the Israelis had already attacked and murdered several activists, the Israeli claim is not really valid. Unless you are expecting the Activists to watch themselves being attacked.
The ship was also on international waters. It is like me walking in a public park and then being attacked by a person living across from the park and claiming it "self defense" even though I was only bringing some goodies to his poor neighbor.

If there were more than two people who were physically beating you one at a time, what should you do?
I was watching a short clip of the video of those eight teens beating up a girl.
Now, if we were in her shoes, what would have been the best method for self-defense?
Should she have curl herself up in a ball or fight back?
If a group of people are beating you, your best defense is grab a person and fall to the ground. This will use them as a shield, they can't hit you and the others cannot hit you full force without hitting the person being used as a shield.
In the video you are speaking about, most likely it wouldn't work because she was kidnapped in that home and they had all day to beat her. If you are on the street it would work.
