Self Defense Training For Women

Self Defense Classes for Females SHOULD NOT include Kicking a Guy Where it Hurts the Most!! Opinions?

The groin seems to be one of the main targets taught to women in all self defense classes.

There are many other effective techniques the weaker sex can target to stop an attacker:
palm heel to face
instep stomp
kick to knee
kick to shin

Guys are extremely vulnerable in their reproductive area.
It's possible to cause temporary shock and paralysis, or even permanent damage when hit in the jewels.
Because of this, I believe the groin region of a male should be taught as "OFF LIMITS" as a means to stop an assailant in all self defense training!!!!

lol, women take self defense so they can get out of a bad situation, nomatter what. Their attacker isn't another person in karate, there is no respect given from a person who means them harm. If it's between me kicking a guy in the 'groin area' and him blowing out my brains with a gun, I'm getting him where it hurts the most to make my chances of survival greater. That's the main idea of "self-defense." It isn't "Let's hope this other region is good enough, oh oops it wasn't looks like I'm getting shot and raped." Remember, MOST women aren't as strong as MOST men. However, If you are in self defense class and she goes for that area, that is kinda wrong..they should teach women (and men) to kick a doll in that region, then bring in sex offenders, murders and rapers and practice on them for real.

thanks for posting, this was interesting =]
