A question for women about an embarrassing lesson.?

A friend and I were debating which is the weaker sex and self defense, thats when she told me she could drop any man to his knees in seconds,including me, if needed.Thats when I got all cocky and told her, no way not me because men are tougher than women and that she probably hit like a girl anyway.After egging her on I told her to try and prove it, she said no, because id get hurt I laughed at her and kept egging her on and she told me, ok that i was warned and would really regret this.Thats when she managed to catch me off gaurd with a well aimed knee to the groin that dropped me.Is this a common tactic for women in this situation and is it satisfying to drop a guy like that when he is acting all cocky?
