Decent TKD dojo in NJ?
I'm looking for something not McDojoish, for lack of a better term. Preferably around the Bergen County area, and one that teaches self-defense, not exercise. Thank you in advance! >^.^>
There is no such thing as a Taekwondo dojo, Korean/Japanese. Hope you find what you are looking for but with a new school, please do what you didn't do on this post, research.

Self Defense in NJ- Gun Charges?
My husband who has a history of guns and drug charges was recently robbed at gunpoint.
They wrestled. My husband was able to take the gun from his attacker. Once the gun was in my husbands hand, he shot the
Attacker 3 times, in the groan, in the buttocks andin the shoulder. My husband fled, as the attackers ran away bleeding.. he did not die.
Can he claim self defense?

No, that is not self defense. As soon as your husband gained control of the gun, the threat to his life was over and he can no longer claim self defense.
The fact he fled without reporting it also destroys his claim of self defense.
