Is a .32 S&W L an okay defense round?
I have NO clue about guns.
I was given this gun by my brother because I don't have a gun. I did some research and it almost seemed like some gun people had ego problems or something on their forums.
It's like "yeah I know there is better out there", but I have this one.
Some people say "you'd just make somebody mad" or "better off throwing it at the intruder".
I'm just wondering if the .32 S&W L revolver that I've gotten is a joke. I would not want to be shot with it that's for sure.... But is it really "that" bad considering I don't have another gun?
I figure its way better than me & my wimpy self holding a golf club. ;o) Anyway, just looking for "real" input. I can't afford another gun right now.
It has 98 grain bullets & hollow points. I can get better bullets if needs be.
MY wife has a .32. The good points...it's small,fits in a purse or a pocket. Negative points.... doesn't have good stopping power. But in the big picture all guns can kill.

Am I a failure at life?
I'm 15, have no friends besides the ones I talk to online, have mediocre grades, I hate my school, I've only ever had one girlfriend and never kissed a girl, I also can't stand my parents. They now do not let me take any firearm or self defense training because they think my views make me mentally unstable. My days are also very boring. I come home from school, talk to people on forums likes these, somtimes go for walks in the woods, read, work out in my dad's gym, and somtimes play video games.
whay u gotta do is get out and play! spend more time off the comp and more time chillin. knida meld into a game with a big crowd and u might be happier.
i was once like u........but worse.....no girlfriend, no friends, slave to the comp, couch potato, out of shape, always tired and grumpy, bored, anoyed, hated life,school.parents, everything!

get of the comp and cut tv off for about 3 weeks and your life will be transformed!!!!!!
your grades will sore tremendously, u will be less shy and will become a more attractive person, u will make more friends, and best of all....life will be more exciting!
remember....3 weeks....NO LESS!!!!!!!!!!!! or else just stay the way u are now....miserable and alone.........give it a try.
