What are some good self-defense classes that my boyfriend and I can take together?

most of the martial arts are for women and men. makes no difference. my son is a green belt in taekwondo. he takes class with girls, men and women. there's 2 sets of classes, one's for everyone of a particular belt level, and 1 just for adults.

he loves it. and it would be great for you guys to do it, you can be partners for each other.

excellent exercise too.

Where could i take free self defense classes?

I have been looking into taking a martial arts class, but it is so pricey. Are there any free self defense classes? I was thinking something put out by the community.
