Free Self Defense Class in Massachusetts (and sex offender laws)?

Does anyone know where I can take a free self defense class in Massachusetts, specifically the North Shore, or near Boston.

I just found out the man that lives on the other side of my duplex house is a level 3 sex offender and I just want to get some additional self defense for me and my family.

Also is it legal for a level 3 sex offender to be living with children that aren't his own? He lives with his girlfriend's two younger kids (boys) and they are about to have their first child (a girl) together. But is it legal for him to leave with the other kids that aren't his?
jurydoc, we did look it up, he was convicted of rape with a child under the age of 14.

I'm 99% sure that is illegal. But I am not very familiar with Mass. Law. I would call social services and find out.

How do I deal with my aunt for a week?

My parents are going to Jamacia in a week and a half and I'm staying with my super strict aunt. She's like 10 times more strict than my mom. Her kids have to go to school, do homework right away, have carrot sticks or an apple, do chores, help with dinner, go to karate or self defense class (they only take it at her request), and then get 30 minutes of free time before they have to go to bed at 8:30. And I'm going to have to do all of this (except karate) next week. She even makes me do the chores with her kids. Last time I was there, I scrubbed the kitchen floor, cleaned the toilets, and cleaned up after the dogs the whole time. And when I refused to clean up after the dog, I got a spanking and had to do double the chores.
AH! She's too strict and mean. If our beds aren't made perfectly or our skirt is a centimeter too short for her, it's a huge deal and major punishment.
Do you think she's too strict? How do I deal?

Just remember, it could be worse. You could be starving right now or in the middle of a war zone or being held hostage.

Do I think she's too strict? Yes. Especially that you're not her kid. Do I think you should suck it up and try to make it through the week? Yes. Doing some extra chores and doing your homework on time isn't going to hurt you. However, the spankings will. Tell your mom to tell your aunt not to spank you. You're not her kid, so it's really not her descision. Maybe for half the week you can stay at your grandparents and your friend's house for a day, and maybe a family friend another day. So it's kind of even.

Good luck! And things can always be worse!
