Is the Safety Cat self defense keychain legal in California?

I just ordered one without thinking of checking if it would be illegal. I am googling, but not finding any definite answers! Thank you!

I'll give you the same answer I did a month ago. I think it likely that this would be categorized as brass knuckles under California law, and be illegal to possess anywhere. If it was not, it would very likely be categorized as a dagger, and be illegal to carry concealed on your person. I think you just wasted your $5 plus shipping, and would advise throwing it away when it arrives. Suggestions previously given of pepper spray or a stun gun for self defense were good.
