Italian man isn't so good in manage a family, so often a woman have to take the control...

Why are there so few powerful women on TV?
Okay, I'm switching sides (but just for a hypothetical.)
We've got the stars of 24, CSI (and its spinoffs), NCIS, House, and a variety of other dramas all featuring men (even "Crossing Jordan" which features a woman in the titular role strongly features a male costar.)
Why aren't there more powerful women on TV?

I'm not a fan of TV in general, but when I watch, I see very few powerful women OR men on most shows. If I want to see both males and females with power, I check out my much-loved news shows or c-span. Everything else is crap, basically. (I certainly will admit that Oprah is a great woman. A little over-rated, but great).
And I agree, Dulce is crazy.
