If a girl is groped can she mace or taze the attacker in self defense?

Im a 17 year old girl that works at a haunt from 7-12 Midnight and sometimes things happen. I want to protect myself. So if I mace or taze someone who has just groped me or assaulted me what can i do. Last year I was punched in the face and got a bloody nose. If someone does that to me again i want to be ready. Can I legally mace or taze in self defense.?
yes i can get a tazer. or stun gun it just need to be small enough to carry in my pocket.

You have a human right to defend yourself irrespective of any laws to the contrary. What you can do legally depends on the laws of your region.

However, even if you act within the law, the person you stun or mace might claim that he did nothing to you and that you assaulted him. It is ROUTINE that people who legitimately defend themselves end up getting arrested, and often prosecuted.

Nonetheless, I teach self defense, and I think stun guns and mace are outstanding tools of "less-than-lethal" self defense. I purchased a combination kuboton, pepper-spray, key chain for my wife a couple years ago.
