Which martial art Style is the best for me?

Im a girl
and i would like to know some defense, i have always been interested in learning some form of kung fu
I would also like to learn it, to get in better shape, mental, and self defense.
I am sturdy, and im a cheerleader so i am flexiable and catch on well, and i am strong.
I would like to learn this free/online since my parents think im weird for wanting to take a class.
oh something really cool like the lighting quick tiger claw and more
and is there a way to figure out what style like tiger, dragon, and more is good for you?

you cannot learn a martial art online. nor for free. you can learn alot, don't get me wrong. but you can't learn a "whole" art online.

i'm not one to try to bash any art or style. they are all good if taught and practiced right. however, if you are not in it for the long haul, i'd stay away from traditional arts such as, karate, and kung fu. they take quite a while to learn to any sort of proficiency.

i'd also just take a "self defense" course. many traditional schools offer them, yet do not teach you the "art" of karate/kung fu..etc. or you can choose a style that cuts to the chase such as Jim Wagners reality based self defense, krav maga, senshido (Rich Dimitri)..Tony Blauers spear system. etc. the entire purpose of these arts is to get you up to speed and defending yourself in a short amount of time.

since you like animal techniques. specifically tiger and dragon. i'd recommend (if you are in it for the long haul) ...a style of okinawan karate called uechi ryu (way chee roo) ...it is based on the movements of the tiger, dragon, and crane.
also chinese arts have specific systems for specific animals. fu jow pai (foo jow pie) for example is tiger claw kung fu. eagle claw, white crane, dragon fist, praying mantis, there are tons of them.
some styles such as choy li fut, hung gar, and others are based on the "5 animals" dragon, tiger, snake, crane, and leopard/panther. others still have 10 or 12 animals..such as the internal styles of hsing-i chuan, and bagua zhang.

but as i said, these kinds of arts are as much about "self/life mastery" as they are about self defense. thus they are "long haul" martial arts.

a good compromise would be wing chun kung fu. it is very simple, and effective.

but really you need to address some other concerns before choosing.
for instance...it does me (or you) no good to say..."do wing chun, or uechi ryu karate"...if there are no schools for them in your area.

so thats one thing you need to ask yourself, and do some research on. what martial arts are available to you in your area?
how "legit" are the teachers? often times it's more important to choose a school because the teacher is very good, as opposed to choosing this or that style. without a good teacher, any art is crap.

ask yourself, what are your goals? ..is your only goal to learn a bit of self defense? or do you want more from your training?

dont sign any contracts. and pay attention to the price of the lessons as well.

Where can i learn Krav Maga online?

I heard of this practical self-defense style original from Israel in witch i was really interested.
I would app if you could tell me where can i learn it online for free(video,diagram..etc),i also got a lot of karate and kick-boxing experience it is not that i am starting from 0
Btw there in my country is impossible to find a place where you can learn it,that's why my only option is online,and it is not that i want to be an expert,i just want to learn the basics sot that i could mix it up with my other knowledge,to use sort of a mixed martial art.
