What is better for self defense, Krav Maga or Brazilian jiu jitsu?

I want to take a martial art, I have narrowed down my choices to krav maga and bjj. I wanted to know what is better for self defense and which one is better in general.

There is better if we compare them for each other, besides this is the kind of inquiry that you itself must answer.

Because, there is no other who knows your capability beyond anything else except you, the issue here is not about your own physical ability, things rely upon your willingness and determination to learn, so that you may achieve your main aim, objectives, goal and purposes.

Think so many times and ask yourself if what you like most that can satisfy and make yourself comfortable with, the most efficient way is by visiting some boxing or mma gym, if there are available in your area then go on and observe, ask some important and necessary questions to the assigned instructor related to your concern, maybe through that effort you can decide and push things if what's favor you most conveniently.

Jiu Jitsu Self Defense

Is kickboxing a good self defense martial art? I know it's a sport but I am wondering.?

Well, for all what I have seen of kick boxing it looks pretty good. I mean, it does look like a good Self Defense Martial art, and a good sport...and I am really thinking about taking it. And am thinking about after that, mixing it with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, or just Jiu Jitsu? Thanks for the help.

its a good fighting art. but it doesnt take street combat into consideration. you wont have gloves on, you wont have your hands protected with wraps or tape. your attacker may have a weapon, you may not even see the weapon. it doesnt deal with weapons defense at all. nor multiple attackers, or any other street scenario. its great for a base...and its great for squaring off and fighting someone. but thats about it in my opinion.
