can my boyfriend use self defence if he gets hit first?? and warns the person 3 times if he goes to hit my bf one more time? and how far can he go in self defence?? (its that he has got threatend) and isnt gunna get police invovld. can he beat him up badly? to stop him from getting hurt? and if the person has a knife can he break his bones?. thank you.

You are permitted to use a REASONABLE level of physical force to defend yourself. And he would need to be the "victim" in the confrontation.

For example, if your bf meets this guy and waits for the guy to throw the first punch - your bf will not be acting in self defense. This is a fight. Both of them will be equally responsible.

If your bf is minding his own business and the other guy approaches and attacks him - your bf is allowed to use a reasonable level of force to defend himself.

I do not recommend causing or attempting to cause any type of serious injury. Broken bones can easily result in a felony assault charge.

In the process of this robbery, you use your knowledge of krav maga to defend the two of you. You then call the police and the two individuals are arrested. Is there any way to guarantee the safety of you and your friend if you continue to walk this route and they get out?

well in a real life situation, in the process of taking the gun away you or your friend has a very good chance in getting shot. 2nd hopefully there is only 2 of them. you dont always see the 3rd or 4th.
there a reason you dont read about too many people taking weapons away from an armed robber, they usually get shot in the process. every thing works great in practice and looks real cool on those youtube videos. but it is not practical and what ever money you have in your wallet is not worth your life.
to avoid the future retaliation take a different route.

the general rule is people are cowards and vengeful. if you beat them the come back at you sometimes and better prepared. with more people or better armed.
it is always better to walk away from the conflict and let the police deal with the muggers, that's there job
