What is a good book for a wanna be entrepreneur?
I am a senior in high school and I am really interested in the subject. I hope one day to start my own business. Is there any funny and enjoyable read out there that also provides a wealth of knowledge about entrepreneurship?
Any of Farrah Gray's books would be great, especially his first. Gray grew up in a cockroach-infested welfare apartment in the projects, but has one of those super-go-get-'em personalities and his business ventures made him a millionaire by the time he was 20. While the other kids were entertaining unrealistic fantasies about becoming rappers or NBA stars, Gray was building an empire. I heard syndicated talk show host Neal Boortz interview Gray a couple years ago and was blown away by how enthusiastic he is. He's confident, as you'd expect a self-made man to be, but also funny, modest, and full of practical advice. And he's not one of those get-rich-quick scammers who makes all of his money from book sales. He started writing the books after he'd earned enough money to last a lifetime (but when he was still the age of an average college junior!) because he wants to help other entrepreneurs. Here's a link to his first book:
