Funding for Women Entrepreneurs?

Are there organizations out there that fund women entrepreneurs to start small businesses?
It's strange that one would assume that I don't have a master degree or high credit rating. I have both. In this case, where are good funding resources (grants)?

Set up Kurtis manufacturing unit in Pune, MH, India?

Hi, I have been doing wholesale Indian garments ( Kurtis) for over 2 years now. Now in order to expand my work, I either have to move to Retail or manufacturing. I have decided to set up a manufacturing unit of Ladies Kurtis. I need help in the following -
1) Where can I get good Master/ workers for stitching ?
2) Which is the nearest city from pune to get raw material. Cloth/ Gotta/ threads etc.
3) Can I approach bank as a women entrepreneur for funds, if yes then which bank ?
4) How to find a designer ?
5) What is the investment required to set up a small unit.
