Where can I get decent martial arts lessons online for FREE?

I'm looking for anything that will help me with self defense. Just something that will help me get out of sticky situations.
Also, I hate not knowing how to fight if I need to.

Fellow students provide training partners and senior students serve as examples to the lower ranks. A qualified instructor fills many needs. First, he introduces techniques. Second, he observes his students' attempts to copy his movements. Third, he corrects and adjusts flaws in techniques. Finally, he ensures that everyone stays safe. Precise technique is what makes martial arts work. This is how one trained person can defend against a larger attacker or a multiple attacker situation. It requires years of dedicated training, under expert supervision, to get to the level where your techniques are fast enough, powerful enough, and accurate enough, to save your skin. The difference between good and poor technique might appear slight, but the difference in effectiveness is very, very, significant. People who answer these questions train continually, for years, because there is no other way to improve.
