Im, 19, female, and an entrepreneur.?

I'm in the process of owning a micro-enterprise with two guys who are both 3 years older than me. Although I am the youngest of the group, I have more knowledge and experience. However, one of the issues we're currently facing is our salary and how much we should get paid per hour. Where I live, which is Guam, the minimum wage is around $6.50. They're suggesting we all get paid $7 or $8 per hour! I disagree with them but I, too, am unsure how much I should pay myself. I've explained that even Project Coordinators get paid more than that. Any ideas?

You are totally approaching this from the wrong angle. You're trying to build a business. You should all pay yourselves as cheap as possible in order to grow the business. You sacrifice your present salary now for HUGE dividend gains later.

I HIGHLY recommend that you and your partners read "Rich Dad Poor Dad".

Your focus should be to make a "machine" that produces money. Don't get in petty fights about your salaries right now. If you're not bringing in business, then you won't even be paid.

Should women entrepreneurs be charged lower insurance premiums?

Like with car insurance. Men owned businesses cost insurers 60% more than female owned businesses, so shouldn't women have to pay less, instead of being made to pay as much as men, effectively having to pay for mens worse business sense? Women do have to pay higher health insurance.

sure, if you agree that men's health insurance should be cheaper because women's health care costs more.
