Entrepreneur business?

Hi, well I'm 14 years old and I'm thinking of a career id like to pursue. Now I am pretty good at math, i speak pretty well English i would like to think that I'm good at communicating since I love talking, I'm good in computer's and also I LOVE BUSINESS!!! I'd love a job where I'd have my own hours, where I'm kind of my own boss, where I don't have a specific time of when I have to wake up and go to work. Now I want to be successful, I have pretty good grades, I'm in 8th grade btw. I'm thinking about being an entrepreneur, but I know nothing about that. The only thing I know is that your either a succesfull entrepreneur or a failure.

Please someone give me some job ideas.. and explain to me what do entrepreneurs really do. (Don't give me the wikipedia description because I dont understand it)

There's one important thing to note. If you work for John Smith, you have *one* employer. If you work for yourself, you have hundreds or *thousands* of employers, and you're not likely to keep them all happy.

A job where you have your own hours, where you don't have a specific time of when you have to wake up and go to work? That's not an entrepreneur's job description - that's the job description of a homeless person.

Now, the one nice thing about being an entrepreneur is that while you need to work seven days a week, you only have to work half-days to succeed, and by choosing the business you go into, you get to choose *which* twelve hours you work.

An entrepreneur manages his time, materials he buys, machinery he can buy or lease, and technology & designs he has either created or has purchased/licensed to create products and services. If customers think the finished product or service is worth more than the entrepreneur has invested in it, the entrepreneur makes money. If they think it is worth less, the entrepreneur has lost money.

The entrepreneur is the last one laid off in an economic downturn, but the second-last one laid-off gets paid as long as he is working, and sometimes the entrepreneur pays a lot of money out to work, instead of getting a paycheck.

Every self-employed person you meet is an entrepreneur, whether you're talking about the guy at the corner garage who tunes up cars, the guy who is waiting in the doctor's office, trying to sell him new floor scales, or the homeless bum on the street, wiping windshields with a greasy rag and hoping for handouts.

If you want to get started, you're at a good age. Set up a business that rakes leaves, shovels sidewalks and mows lawns. After you get enough business to keep one person busy, hire a classmate to do the work for half the loot you charge, and keep on selling homeowners on your services. Expand to detailing cars, doing oil changes in the customers' driveways, and walking dogs. By the time you are 18, you could have hundreds of other kids working for you, grateful to have a job at all, while you have enough money to buy the moon.

But basically an entrepreneur creates value in the form of goods and services, and sells them.

im a young stay@home mom. i live with my parents and they want me OUT! i breastfeed my infant so its hard to work! but i CAN work & b with her if i start my own Business... so i was wondering if i can get sum ideas on sum different businesses i can start?

but the idea is owning an online mall, goods that everyone buys every month (no forever lasting knives), so you can easily make a solid cash flow. It takes a few years (depends on you) before you can consider it a full time job. But if you are interested feel free to contact me.
