Should Mosques be considered places of worship or weapon silo's?
The majority of mosques worldwide are certain to have some weaponery. Naturally its all for "self defense". However, most countries have statutes regulating firearms and places that can store or sell firearms.
The accumulation of weapons in a mosque is so common, it doesnt seem to make sense to call them "places of worship" but instead, either close them down or regulate them the same way you would regulate any militia or weapon silo.
I think with all that has happened, that they should be discreetly and respectfully checked for weapons. Absolutely.

Why is it that women are given instructions on how not to be raped ...?
...and men are not given instructions on how not to rape?
Why is it that this culture tends to task women with the burden of rape prevention? Why is it that we are encouraging women to take self-defense, to "learn common sense" or "be more responsible" or "be aware of risks" or "avoid these places" or "don't dress this way," and failing to encourage men to not rape?
Of course, this is a question based on society where only a woman can get raped and a man can only be "seduced" (which is idiotic). I am also not claiming that men are rapists, but only that the focus on prevention is more the burden of the woman than the man.
What are your honest thoughts on that?

Uhhh... men are not instructed not to rape? Yes they are. In most households little boys are brought up to respect women and not to harm them. If a person isn't taught this way from the time they are a child it is the failure of his parents.
It's everyone's responsibility to be aware of their surroundings and to be cautious every day. I don't feel free to just wander anywhere I want dressed like a hooker... unless I'm packing.
