How can I get Tax Deductable Financial Donations for a Ministry?
We have a Non-Denominational Christian Ministry that provides support for Women and their Children that have a Husband incarcerated in prison, while helping to keep the incarcerated families and marriages together. We also help provide Hope & Encouragement for anyone that has a need. We are trying to find ways to secure Tax Deductible financial donations from people and business to help fund our Ministry. We are also trying to find ways to secure speaking engagements. Do you know how we can do either one?
Charitable donations are only tax deductible if they're given to an organization (a church, a foundation, a charitable organization, etc.).
Donations are never deductible when given to a specific person.

Am I the only Christian who feels this way?
I don't agree with abortions, gay marriage, etc.(for religious reasons) But, I will NEVER vote and make these things against the law. Truthfully, I think it's none of my, or anyone else's business if a woman decided to have an abortion, or if 2 men/women decided to get married. It's not life threatening to anyone else(in normal cases), so why should anyone care? Why is it a big deal? All I want to do is make it into heaven. If someone would want my advice about gay marriage or abortion, I would tell them what I think God will say, but they are free to do whatever they want and I can't stop them. It's would be in God's hands.
God gave us free will. If God treated us the way we treated our fellow humans, all of us would be dead and in hell by now.
Am I the only person who thinks this? If so, what do you think?
True love for your neighbor states that you should care what they do.
Not necessarily control what they do,-but in a civilized society, - when they want to 'do' something, - govn't should recognize, or not recognize it as valid.
So, citizens have 'rights', pre-borns are not citizens yet. So out they go. Successful societies throughout history recognize marriage as between one man and one women. Do we throw that out, -all for the sake of some twisted experiment?
