Is CloseCombatTraining.com really as good as they claim?

Captain Chris's self-defense course offered at closecombattraining.com sounds too good to be true. Has anyone had any experience with it, and if so, what do you think?
I have been a keen boxer for years, but I do adhere to the theory that sport-combat is useless on the streets.
I should clarify.
I have boxed for years, and am a keen iaido practitioner, but I feel that boxing and most Eastern MA will not help in the real world.
If I was to purchase this set I would use it as a supplement to my own training and possibly Krav Maga (I've done a little, but not enough).
What do you think?

Yeah i suppose he has one for training police and soldiers completely also. they would never have to set foot in an academy or boot camp. We could just send them lessons on DVD and ship them their rifles and grenades and let them go to it. Would you feel secure in a police force or army trained this way? See where I am going? Then why would you even consider trusting something that might one day be called on to save your life to being learned ON video.

Video can be a great supplementt for a person that already has a fair amount of experience, but all it Willl do for beginnerer is ive them a false sense of confidence. You need an instructor to actually be there to correct you on mistakes you will be making, as even the little things matter in self defense.

You also must train with live resisting opponents, as you do in boxing, to make sure that you can do th techniques effectively. Please take my advice and do not think you can learn adequate self defense from any video tape. Find a good qualified instructor in your area, and quite honestly i wouldn't discount boxing so quickly.

Edit- ok so since you have quite a bit of training let me just say this. Anyone who would sell something like this on the internet is not to be trusted. If it did work, they could be training a rabid dog that just wants to go out and hurt people. More then likely though they are just out to make some money in the american "I want it, I want it now, and I don't want to have to work for it". Honestly have you ever really heard of getting something that great without putting real time and effort in. If you are looking for someone to say it's ok, and I am actually reading that into your edit, since you mention previous training, then I say go ahead, but don't be suprised when if you need it you get your b*** kicked because you took a shortcut.
