Is this weapon legal and a good buy?

I'm just looking for legal non lethal self defence weapons and the automatic baton looked cool. The question is : is this weapon legal and a good buy? and is this website itself legit and are the other self defence weapons (mostly in the batons and stun guns section) legal and a good buy as well? http://budk.com/Self-Defense/Automatic-Baton and also out of curiosity, you hear about those real life super heroes and stuff like shadow hare or mr. xtreme, if they were to use something like this baton or the others on there would that be legal?

Possession of a stun gun, or a baton in my Sate will find you convicted of a felony. Both are very illegal in Michigan. The Baton and the Taser are both considered "Deadly Force" here, and are on authorized for Law Enforcement Officers who have been properly trained to use them.

Best self defense weapon?

So.. lets say im in a case where its life and death situation, like me getting robbed or...a fight something bad. But I dont have a gun. And my only choices are tasers knifes stun guns mace or pepper sprays or a baton or anything else that isnt a gun related, what should I choose? (Looking to buy one)

I would go with a good foaming marking pepper spray IF you have neither the time nor the resources for training. Even if you do have both training takes time and its a good stop gap tool til you feel comfortable with your training. Self defense or simple survival training is a state of mind more than anything else. If you carry yourself with confidence ( confidence not arrogance ) and are alert, even this can make a difference. Your car keys between your fingers even a tightly rolled magazine can be a defensive weapon. Go to your local Barnes and Nobles, Books A Million, or even Amazon has books on improvised weapons and how to use them. Even that English book you had in school is a defensive tool...
