Is there any passage in the Bible that says its okay to kill someone in self defense?
And, more specifically, I am wondering if there are any references to killing in self defense found in the New Testament?

What is the Bibles view on self defense?
Is it ok to harm/kill someone if they attack you or if they break into your home? I'm not talking about shooting them in the back as they run away.
If you were going to be raped or killed or robbed or something, is it ok you defend your self if you have no other choice?
