Which martial art for self defense is best?

Okay. I am 15 years old and I want to know which martial art I should take. There is only one reason I am going to take on martial arts. It's because I want to know how to be a lethal weapon. I took karate at age 10 and did not like it because it was more of a "just for fun" class than anything. I want to learn moves (some lethal, yes). I have been researching and my top candidates right now are Jiu Jitsu (the Danzan Ryu version, to be more specific), and Escrima. Please help. Thanks so much.
(Escrima uses knives and also hands but a tiny bit more of knives). Jiu Jitsu uses just your body. I am more interested in knives but you do not always have one one you.

You should totally look into Krav Maga. Its the self defense system of the Israeli commandos and it seems like just what you are looking for. It specializes in weapon disarming and disabling your enemy quickly and efficiently. I don't know a lot about escrima but what I have seen is pretty cool. I don't think that classic JJ would be the best choice if you want to be a lethal weapon. Really want to be lethal? Go to a shooting range and get good with some firearms because honestly if you are actually killing things thats what you should have.

Make a fist pointing upward and hit him with the lower part of your palm as hard as you can on the bridge of his nose. You need to throw your whole body into the punch so his nose will be more likely to break. If necessary, do it multiple times.
