self defense.the teloscopic baton, use and size of it.?

im looking to get a snan stick, a.k.a teloscopic baton as a self defense weapon. ive been jumped a number of times and currently have some people looking for me that have carry them also.
im a pretty big guy, just over 6 foot, and im strong and fast.
i was wondering what size would be best.
and if it could break their knee or take them down at least if i hit them is teh side of the knee cap so i could get away.
i want to know what would be a good size to get. not your fuucken opinion
dont care what happens, its guna be used for when i come across large ammount of guys and they have weapons. ive been in mixed martial arts training for 12 years, so bare hand i can win. but i just want to prove im not bitch and i wont run and i dont want to get fuked up too much.

As they told us in the police academy... you want a baton you can "reach out and touch someone with." The longer the better. I carried one that was about arm length. Much longer than that and it can be awkward to swing and maneuver.
As for use, yes... if you hit someone in the leg with it, you can possibly break their knee. Only use force that is equal to what is being used or being threatened to be used. If you act too harshly, you yourself can be charged with assault even if you were just defending yourself. Always try to get away versus attempting to fight back. It pays off better in the end looking at the legal prospectives.

Well thats fine and dandy. Just remember, a ASP baton is generally considered a deadly weapon and is prohibited to be carried by a civilian in some states. So when you finished breaking someones knee with it and the police come looking for you, you'll be treated just like someone with a gun. Not worth it in the long run.
