Pre-Paid VS. Free Presentations

The purpose of this information page is to distinguish between FREE classes to groups with regular meetings vs. sign-up sheets with a payment of $5.00 per person paid in advance at the time they sign up, and to clarify the differences.

"People don't know what they don't know."

Until someone begins to hear and experience these "How To Protect Yourself" presentations, there is no value attached to them. When I finish a presentation, it is normal for the participants to express that they are very glad that they chose to attend, and wish that more of their co-workers or friends had attended as well. For groups such as MOPS or sororities, they are already into their meetings when I arrive and join them, present, leave, and they continue on with their activities.
FREE vs. Pre-Paid Presentations
These presentations are free to businesses and groups that bring me and our other speakers into their standard meetings and "lunch and learn" established programs. The women walk from their offices to the company lunch room or conference room and then walk back to their offices afterwards.

If your business brings in women that are not employees (like fitness centers) we have set up a $5.00 sign up fee to ensure attendence.

Why do the businesses pre-collect the $5.00 fee?

Why not have the women pay when they arrive for the classes?

What we are experiencing is the human tendency to arrive late to activities.

Speakers have one hour to present an incredible amount of "priceless" information to the participants in these classes. We ask that the staff ask for and hold onto the $5.00 at the time the women sign up for these classes. Cash and checks can easily be marked and held in a legal size envelope to hand to the speaker when they arrive. Most women pay in cash. Checks are made out to Women's Safety Education Group. Please do not abbreviate the name.

We are asking for your understanding and support in the advance fee collection.

The last few minutes of each class are spent explaining what the rapists say will deter and stop them. Personal weapons are demonstrated and available for purchase at the very end of the class. There is no obligation to purchase.

For those women who do wish to purchase pepper spray that Women's Safety Education Group provides, $5.00 will be deducted from their total retail sale at the end of the class.

We Want to Schedule a Seminar, What Do We Do?

Once the business and a scheduler agree on a date for the seminar, the sign-up sheet and flyer ( that they might wish to post ) will be emailed or faxed to them.

The Sign-up sheet has the office fax number at the bottom of the page. 1-925-666-2633. This sign-up sheet needs to be faxed into the Women's Safety Education Group's main office the day before the presentation. Preferably before noon, of the day before. We ask for names and phone numbers so that someone in the WSEG office can call all the ladies the day or night before to remind them to come. The whole goal is to save lives. A friendly reminder might make the difference in whether they come or forget to come.

Is it Appropriate to Bring our Children?

Rape is a very serious subject. This program is presented through the Eyes of the Rapists and designed for women to learn how to protect themselves from being raped. When little ones are in the classes, the speakers automatically adjust the content in respect for the young children. Teenagers can handle the adult content. Shortly, Women's Safety Education Group will launch their Kids Safety Education Group. This is the more appropriate safety education presentation to bring your young children to.
