WSEG Speaker News & Updates:

Chuck Harder (Chuck Harder Show) recently interviewed Sharon Jackson, author of "Who's Watching Your Drink?", on date rape drugs and their damaging effects. You can find this informative podcast link to the right in the link area of this page. Hosted by Good Politics Radio (GPR), a revolutionary political broadcasting station that DOES NOT allow mudslinging, spinning, or filtering.

Women's Safety Education Group has doubled in size over this past year. Please take a look below at our updated speaker list. We now have three speakers in California! We would also like to thank Bob & Sandy Gailor for their dedication in helping WSEG become established in Nevada. Thanks to all of you who have shown support by passing on refferals, and giving the gift of safety and awareness!

The end of Summer...what does that mean to you?

For a lot of people Labor Day means a day off, the end of summer, family time, and barbeques.
But why is it called Labor Day?
Labor Day is a day set aside to pay tribute to working men and women. A yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. It has been celebrated as a national holiday in the United States and Canada since 1894.
Thanks President Grover Cleveland!

Have a safe and happy ending to your summer.

Safety Tip of the Month:
A NEW WAY OF CAR-JACKING

You walk across the parking lot, unlock your car and get inside. Then you lock all your doors, start the engine and shift into REVERSE, and you look into the rearview mirror to back out of your parking space and you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window.

So, you shift into PARK, unlock your doors and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view. When you reach the back of your car, that is when the car-jackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off! Your engine was running, (ladies would have their purse in the car) and they practically mow you down as they speed off in your car.

BE AWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED.

Just drive away and remove the paper that is stuck to your window later, and be thankful that you read this email. I hope you will forward this to friends and family...especially to women! A purse contains all of your identification, and you certainly do NOT want someone getting your home address. They already HAVE your keys!
